11/12/10   New Logo
What started as a voluntary call for sketches and logo ideas culminated in an official logo for the BE-GSO. Special thanks to all the contributions and voting members!

8/31/10   Visiting Speaker
Successful kick off of the BE-GSO Speaker Series with Dr. Suzanne Gaudet of Harvard University and her presentation on “Modeling and Understanding Variability in Death-Ligand Induced Apoptosis”.

2/3/11   Multicultural Night
A co-sponsored event with SPH showcased student performances and proceeds from a silent auction raised money for both GSOs and Africare.

7/5/11   Abio199 Kick-off
For the first time ever, the BE GSO offered a newly approved team taught course in Human Disease to undergraduates at the main SUNY Campus. It was a HUGE SUCCESS!

8/17/11   Student Retreat
A weekend camping trip at Dippikill (the Adirondacks) complete with BBQ, s'mores, hiking, kayaking and then some!

8/23/11   New Student Orientation
New and old graduate students kick off the start of school at an orientation mixer and happy hour.
